Sioux Pommel Bags
Rare form of horse gear circa 1880, which possibly doubled as personal bags - those that could have been held over the forearm. Pockets are interior, edge lined with trade wool. Yellow ochre is evident on the entire surface of the braintanned leather. Beautiful.
