Plains Girl’s Concho Belt and Drop
Girl's concho belt, probably Sioux, circa 1880. Old leather, probably repurposed from another item, and an old buckle that is similar to the early bridle buckles of the day. 12 nickel domed conchos are on the main belt, and the belt drop has smaller domed nickel spots. Good signs of wear are on the belt, and an old tag calling it "Sioux Squaw Belt". 1.5" wide, 29" long, and the drop is 27.5" long and 7/8" wide.
