Conrad Schwiering – Bringin’ ‘Em In
This was privately commissioned and never left the family until now - it's never been offered on the public market. Two cowboys are bringing the cattle down from the high Gros Ventre country in Jackson Hole, in the fall. Blacktail Butte is visible, but it is dwarfed by the Grand Tetons. Schwiering's cowboy paintings are considered among his best. Dated by Schwiering, and titled on Schwiering's label on the back (1978). It is in the original frame, with a brass title plaque on the front.
