This item came from the Susie Meldrum collection, Denver, Colorado. Susie was the niece of John W. Meldrum, United States Commissioner for Yellowstone National Park from 1894 to 1935. Meldrum was affectionately known as "The Grand Old Man of Yellowstone National Park." Her uncle collected several YNP related items throughout his years as U.S. Commissioner.
