Shipping and Returns
We recognize that buying antique items can be an inexact science. In that spirit, Cayuse guarantees that all items are as represented on our website. If, within 30 days of purchase you have any doubt about the approximate age, authenticity or origin of a piece, detail your concerns in writing to us. We will engage the services of another qualified professional to evaluate the piece. If the final assessment is in agreement with our original assessment, we will consider the matter resolved. If the final assessment does not conform to our opinion, we will return the paid value of the piece in question. This policy does not cover return of an item for general reasons. You don’t have to worry about being an expert, because we are confident in our pieces.
We have great faith that you will love your purchase from Cayuse, but we know that sometimes a bracelet doesn’t fit, or the web photograph just didn’t portray the item properly. Cayuse has a full money-back policy on items purchased from our web site. Here’s how it works: you must inform us within 10 days of our ship date that you are returning the item to us. We will refund the purchase price of the item, less any shipping charges, as soon as we receive the item and determine that it is in the same condition as when it left our premises. If the item is damaged, altered, or lost on its way back to us, we cannot refund any monies. We want you to love your item as much as we do.
Payment for shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Cayuse uses UPS as our primary shipping agent. We can also use the US Postal Service or Fed Ex if requested. We will ship with insurance unless waived in writing by the purchaser. We will request a receiver’s signature unless waived by the purchaser in writing. If the package is lost or stolen or the item damaged, and insurance and/or signature requirement have been waived, Cayuse will not be responsible for making any claim against the shipper, or for return of any monies to the purchaser.
Please open your package as soon as you receive it to make sure the contents traveled safely…UPS will not accept claims for damage if the package isn’t opened immediately. In the case of damage, save all packaging for UPS inspection.
